Airline seeking Caravan Captains

Air Choice One is currently inviting candidates to apply for Captain Positions operating the Cessna 208 Caravan in scheduled and on-demand passenger operations based at St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL/KSTL), and operating under FAR Part 135 throughout the Midwest.
The Captain is responsible to conduct and manage flight operations, ensuring a maximum level of safety, convenience to passengers, and cost effectiveness while maintaining flight schedules. The Captain is required to have thorough and continuing working knowledge of all aircraft systems, Federal Aviation Regulations and TSA Regulations, weather and instrument operations during all seasons, and company standards and procedures.
The Captain must have excellent aeronautical decision-making skills, strong flying and instrument skills, and excellent radiotelephony skills: operations include regularly scheduled flights into Class B hub airports Chicago O'Hare (ORD/KORD) and St. Louis Lambert (STL/KSTL). The Captain must be able to work in a crew environment with outstanding Crew Resource Management skills, and safely operate the aircraft single pilot in busy environments and all weather conditions. Captains will also assist in developing First Officers' experience and decision-making skills to become Captains.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions.
• Must be willing to work early and late hours, weekends and holidays.
• Must be willing to relocate to St. Louis, Missouri, and to spend multiple days traveling while on duty.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
• Pilots will be expected to participate in a training agreement as a condition of employment.


• FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate Preferred
• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit


• Minimum total flight time required is 1,300 hours of which at least 500 hours are as Pilot-In-Command,
• Minimum 100 hours multi-engine airplane, OR 100 hour’s turbine airplane,
• Minimum instrument flying experience of 75 hours, including all-weather winter operations experience,
• Currency under Part 91 for day and night VFR and IFR operations, including a current Flight Review, instrument currency and 90-day recency in day and night landings, and

Preferred experience: In addition to the minimum required experience above, applicants with the any of the following should include the same on their resumes and applications:

• Recent experience flying turboprop transportation aircraft is preferred.
• Experience flying Cessna 208 Caravan aircraft is preferred.
